研究会
信州大学経法学部において月１回のペースで開催される「研究会」は、経済学、経営学、法学、政治学など、社会科学諸分野の研究成果 について報告・議論する場を提供し、さまざまな研究トピックスに関して相互理解を深めるとともに、研究者間でのコミュニケーションの促進を図ることを目的としています。
構想段階の研究や調査進行段階の研究も発表可能であり、研究者間の意見交換を通 じて研究内容の発展を図るなど、建設的な議論が展開されています。また、報告者は信州大学の教員にとどまらず、他機関の研究者も積極的に招き入れ、より広範なトピックスを取り扱うことを目指しています。

Vriend) 概 要 It has long been recognized that many people appear to be interested in various types of goods that are primarily used to signal their social status. This paper experimentally investigates to what extent people's tendency to invest in `status goods' depends on whether (1) the cumulative amount of investment is visible or not, (2) one's ability matters for success in joint activities (e.g., marriage or business), and (3) they are informed about it. In particular, we ask if people invest in status goods even when their ability does not matter for the success of joint activities because they believe it does, and such a belief is sustained as a self-fulfilling equilibrium. 概 要 Structural vector autoregressive (SVAR) models are fundamental tools for analyzing the dynamic and simultaneous relationships among multiple time-dependent variables.
A wide range of statistical inference methods have been developed to address the identification problem inherent in these models.
Most existing approaches, however, rely on strong assumptions regarding the structural innovations, such as mutual independence or uncorrelated components.
In this study, we relax these assumptions and propose a new identification method for SVAR models that imposes zero restrictions on the coefficient matrices.
These restrictions provide sufficient conditions for the LU decomposition of the coefficient matrices in the reduced form of the SVAR model.
Furthermore, we derive asymptotically normal estimators for the structural coefficients and impulse responses, which in turn allow for hypothesis testing on the simultaneous relationships among the time series variables.
The finite-sample performance of the proposed method is investigated through numerical simulations, and its practical application is demonstrated in an empirical application analyzing the impact of policy interest rates on unemployment and prices.参加を希望される方は，こちらのGoogleフォームに氏名とメールアドレスを記載ください。

場 所 信州大学経法学部 新棟６階会議室 題 目 「台湾における新しい犯罪被害者補償制度について－日本の立替払い制度の提唱への検討を念頭に－」
概 要 台湾の犯罪被害者補償制度は、1998年に成立した犯罪被害者保護法により成立した。
この法律は、起草段階より日本の旧犯罪被害者等給付金支給法から大きな示唆を得たと言われているが、2023年に改正され、大きく変貌した。
旧制度が立替払いのような制度として運用され、求償権行使が困難だったことや、犯罪被害者補償における国の「責任」についての論争が改正の背景の一側面である。本報告は、近時日本の政策提言の動向を意識しつつ、台湾新旧制度の変更について分析し、日本法への示唆を探る。なお，スタッフセミナーへの質問は，赤川（oakagawa__at__shinshu-u.ac.jp）までご連絡ください。
