Shinshu University and the Water Institute in Tanzania Sign Memorandum of Understanding

Shinshu University (SU) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Water Institute (WI). WI and SU have been collaborating through a joint research project on fluoride removal water purification systems utilizing the Shindai Crystal® since 2022 in Arusha, Tanzania. The Memorandum establishes a framework for further developing our joint research activities. On September 3rd, at WI at Dar es Salaam, Distinguished Professor Dr. Katsuya Teshima, Director of the Institute for Aqua Regeneration, and Dr. Adam O. Karia, Director of the Water Institute, exchanged the Memorandum. Based on this Memorandum, we are planning to establish a joint base in Dar es Salaam and Arusha, and to install a new water purification system in Arusha.
