MOU signing ceremony between the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University and School of Medicine, Shinshu University

A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for Academic Cooperation and Exchange was signed between the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, Thailand and School of Medicine, Shinshu University. Khon Kaen University (KKU) was established as the major university in the Northeastern part of Thailand in 1964 and has developed itself to become one of the top universities in Thailand. Since the Faculty of Medicine established in 1972, work toward becoming a center for health research collaborations in the region.
The MOU signing ceremony took place at the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University (KKU) on February 8, 2016 with the participation of Associate Professor Chanchai Panthongviriyakul (Dean, Khon Kaen University), Associate Professor Supat Sinawat (Associate Dean for International Relations and Cooperation Strategies, Khon Kaen University), Professor Yukifumi Nawa (contribute to an agreement), Professor Masaya Takamoto (Department of Infection and Host Defense), Senior Assistant Professor Kazumi Maki (Acting Head, Office of International Cooperation and Exchange), and Mr. Hisayoshi Ohta (Acting Office Manager, Educational Affairs Section). The two faculties soon start exchanging of undergraduate students. Two students from Khon Kaen University are planned to visit School of Medicine, Shinshu University from February to March.
