６．職務
工学部における“AI for social good”/ “Innovation and entrepreneurship”の教育研究にかかわる業務を行っていただきます。

　以下の（１）～（５）すべてを満たす方。
　（１）博士の学位を有するか，着任時までに取得見込みの方。
　（２）データサイエンス・AI分野の研究業績をもつ方。
　（３）工学部におけるデータサイエンス・AIの教育に熱意をもち，真摯に取り組んでいただける方。
　（４）データサイエンス・AIの授業やセミナーの実施と学生の研究プロジェクト指導を英語でできる方。日本語でも授業ができる能力があることが望ましい。
　（５）国際化推進に協力できる方。

令和8年4月1日以降のできるだけ早い時期

９．待遇
勤務形態：　常勤，原則として専門業務型裁量労働制(みなし労働1日7時間45分)
給　　与：　年俸制 4,980,000円（月額　415,000円）
任　　期：　原則採用日から3年
その他，国立大学法人信州大学の規定に基づく

１２．選考方法
第一次選考(書類選考)通過者に対して，第二次選考(プレゼンテーション及び面接)を実施します。第二次選考にかかわる旅費等は応募者の負担とします。なお，選考の結果は応募者宛に電子メールで通知します。

Shinshu University Faculty of Engineering is seeking candidates for a fixed-term assistant professor who will engage with undergraduate students in education and research projects focused on data science, AI, and innovation. 7.Qualifications
Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:
1.Hold a PhD degree or expect to obtain one by the date of appointment.
2.Have research achievements in the field of data science / AI.
3.Be able to engage earnestly and diligently in developing and delivering educational contents on data science / AI at Shinshu University, Faculty of Engineering.
4.Be capable of conducting lectures and seminars on data science / AI topics and supervise student research projects in English (ability to teach in Japanese is desirable, but not required).
5.Be willing to contribute to the internationalization efforts and programs of the university.

8.Starting date
At the earliest possible date on or after April 1, 2026.

9.Employment conditions
Discretionary labor system (deemed working hours: 7.75 hours/day) conditions applied In accordance with the regulations of the National University Corporation Shinshu University:

12.Selection process
-First stage: Document screening
-Second stage: Presentation and interview for shortlisted candidates.
Travel and related expenses for the interview shall be borne by the applicant. The results will be notified to applicants via e-mail.
