１．公募の趣旨・背景
　信州大学理学部理学科生物学コースでは、生物学の基礎を重視しつつ信州の豊富な自然環境の利を生かした教育、および、進化生態学分野、進化人類学分野、植物生態学分野、系統進化学分野、植物分子生理学分野、分子光遺伝学分野、生殖生物学分野、共生分子生物学分野の研究をおこなっております。この度、当コースの教育研究体制をさらに充実させるために、以下の要領で助教候補者を募集いたします。

　生化学に関連する分野

６．職務
　上記分野において研究室を主宰していただくほか、博士課程、修士課程、学部（生化学に関連する講義および学生実験、演習）の教育と研究指導、共通教育科目を分担していただきます。外部資金の獲得、社会活動、国際的活動に対しても意欲的に取り組んでいただきます。また、入学試験業務をはじめとする大学運営・学部運営の業務にも参画していただきます。

７．応募資格
　博士の学位を有する方、または着任時までに博士の学位を取得できる方で、生化学に関連する分野の研究実績を有する方。本学で研究室を主宰できる方。外国人の場合は日本語によるコミュニケーションができる方。将来的に信州の自然を活かした研究ができる方が望ましい。

１０．テニュア・トラック制度について
　若手研究者が自立した研究者としての経験を一定期間積んだ上で厳格な審査を実施し、その間の業績や教員・研究者としての資質・能力が高いと認められた場合に、任期を付さない職を与える仕組みです。
　採用者は採用後５年目前半にテニュア審査が行われ、合格者は６年目から任期の定めのない専任教員として採用されます。テニュア審査は研究、教育、運営上の活動実績に基づいて行われます。具体的な審査基準は採用面接時に説明します。

　給与：本学規定による年俸制とする　（国立大学法人信州大学年俸制適用職員給与細則第４条及び第５条適用）
　勤務形態：常勤（テニュア・トラック）、裁量労働制
　社会保険等：文部科学省共済組合、雇用保険加入

※　研究業績リストは、主要論文（５編以内）の先頭に○印をつけてください。また、著者名のうち応募者にアンダーラインするとともに、責任著者に＊印をつけてください。国際的に評価の高い雑誌（Web of Scienceの直近のデータにおいて選ばれたカテゴリー内のトップ３０％に入っている学術誌）には◎印をつけ、カテゴリー名と順位を記入してください。各原著論文にはDOIを記してください。
※　応募書類は、PDFとして下記の書類提出先にメールの添付書類でお送りください。
　ファイルサイズは25 MB以下とし、提出書類(1)～(9)を一つのファイルにまとめてください。
　ファイル名は「応募書類（氏名）.pdf」としてください。

１４．選考方法
　書類選考の後、選考された人には面接（研究発表及び模擬講義）による二次選考を行います。なお、面接に要する旅費は自己負担となります。

6. Primary tasks to be pursued:
(1) Lead in research and research supervision
(2) Education in undergraduate and graduate programs with course teaching broadly related to the research field
(3) University and research/education program administrations

7. Qualifications:
A doctoral degree, strong research achievements in the field described above, teaching abilities in Japanese language. In the future, it is desirable to be able to conduct research that makes use of the nature of Shinshu.

8. Start of Employment:
April 1st, 2024 at earliest

9. Period of employment
Five years as a tenure-track faculty member

10. Tenure-track institution
It is a system under which young researchers can apply for tenure after engaging in academic research and educational activities for a certain period. Candidates will be granted tenure if they are approved to have accrued high qualifications and academic abilities. A successful candidate hired through this recruitment program will be evaluated in the first half of the fifth year. After successfully passing the evaluation, he or she will be hired as a tenured faculty member from the sixth year onward. The evaluation will be based on the individual’s achievements in research, education, and administrative activities.

(2) List of academic achievements (categorized into journal articles, conference proceedings (refereed or not refereed), books, review articles, etc.)

(3) Summary of the research achievements (A4-size, up to two pages)
(4) Research plans (A4-size, one page)
(5) Teaching plans (A4-size, one page)
(6) List of extramural funding (each categorized into principal investigator or co-investigator)
(7) Contributions to academic societies (e.g., committee members for academic conferences and symposia)
(8) Full names and contact details (please include e-mail addresses) of two references.
(9) PDFs of major papers (maximum of 5)

· Place ○ mark on each of the major papers (up to five). Underline the name of the applicant and place * mark on the corresponding author. Place ◎ mark on each of the papers that have been published in top journals that are ranked in a selected category within top 30%. Indicate the ranking category name and the rank each.
· Provide DOI of each paper.
· Convert and combine the documents (1) ~ (9) into one PDF and send it to the following address by e-mail. The file size should be less than 25 MB in total. Name the file as "application (your name)". If you do not receive any reply within a few days, please contact the following person (Prof. K. Takahashi).
