OPERA exhibit their research results at MEDICA / COMPAMED2019 in Dusseldorf, Germany

Shinshu University’s OPERA project exhibited the fruits of their research and development at MEDICA / COMPAMED2019, the world's largest medical device exhibition held in Dusseldorf, Germany, November 18th to the 21st, 2019.

OPERA organizes the consortium named “Implantable/ wearable medical device co-creation consortium" which aims to accelerate the development of medical devices in Japan through open innovation by industry, academia and government. 7 universities and 14 companies are involved in this consortium and currently work together to solve 10 issues at the forefront of medical device research.

More than 120,000 medical device & material personnel representing 5,200 exhibitors from over 155 countries gathered to find business opportunities and seeds of innovation.

From OPERA, participating institutes for research on Issue 4; “Study on Vital Signs Embedded Wearable Devices” and Issue 5 exhibited. Many attendees came to the booth to grow their business network and exchange information on R&D.

OPERA will continue to exhibit at MEDICA / COMPAMED to create opportunities for collaboration with medical device companies and investors from around the world.
