フードデザイン×ワンヘルス研究拠点 国際シンポジウム開催のお知らせ
2026年11月12日（木）、信州大学農学部伊那キャンパスにて、フードデザイン×ワンヘルス研究拠点（Institute for Food Design and One Health Research）主催の国際シンポジウムを開催します。
本シンポジウムでは、「From Genes to Health: Food Design for One Health -- Integrating Human, Animal, Plant, and Environmental Sciences」をテーマに、国内外の研究者が集まり、ヒト・動物・植物・環境の健康をつなぐ「ワンヘルス」の実現に向けた最新の研究成果や取り組みを紹介します。
食品微生物、動物栄養、植物科学、ゲノミクス、環境科学など、多様な専門分野の研究発表を通じて、食を起点とした持続可能な社会の実現に向けた研究の可能性を探ります。
また、分野や国境を越えた研究者間の交流を促進し、新たな研究連携や国際共同研究の創出につなげることを目指します。

Announcement of the International Symposium Hosted by the Institute for Food Design and One Health Research
We are pleased to announce that the Institute for Food Design and One Health Research, part of the Interdisciplinary Cluster for Cutting Edge Research (ICCER) at Shinshu University, will host an international symposium on November 12, 2026, at the Faculty of Agriculture, Shinshu University.
The symposium, entitled "From Genes to Health: Food Design for One Health -- Integrating Human, Animal, Plant, and Environmental Sciences," will bring together researchers from Japan and abroad to share their latest research findings and explore innovative approaches to advancing One Health, which recognizes the interconnected health of humans, animals, plants, and the environment.
Through presentations covering a wide range of research fields, including food microbiology, animal nutrition, plant science, genomics, and environmental science, the symposium will provide an opportunity to explore how food-related research can contribute to healthier lives and more sustainable food systems.
The event also aims to promote interdisciplinary discussions, strengthen international research networks, and foster new opportunities for collaborative research across scientific disciplines and national borders.
We warmly welcome researchers, students, and all those interested in food science and One Health to join us.
