Information on Graduate School Master's Program Entrance Examinations
Two types of selection examinations are held: special entrance examinations for international students and standard entrance examinations for regular students. Students enrolling in the Graduate School of Science and Technology's Department of Science at the Matsumoto Campus will start school in April.
Special Selection Process for International Students
This selection process is utilized for applicants with non-Japanese citizenship. Applicants who have graduated (or will soon graduate) from a university in Japan take the standard entrance examination instead of the special entrance examination for international students; however, all nationally funded international students take the special entrance examination for international students.
Selection Process
Interviews including questions for examination purposes (oral examination and applicant interview) combined with review of transcripts from previous schools.
Application Schedule
November: applications and selection examinations
December: announcement of successful applicants
April: enrollment
Standard Selection Process
