About Shinshu University Faculty of Agriculture
Shinshu University, one of National Universities in Japan, is located in the central part of Japan, Nagano Prefecture.
The campus of Faculty of Agriculture is located near Ina city, 200 km from Tokyo, and 160 km from Nagoya. We have four divisions, four Master's programs, two Doctor's programs and three associated Centers: International Center for Agricultural Education and Research Center of Alpine Field Science, Collaborated Research Center for Food Functions and Center for Wildlife Issues.
Our campus is in lush forest at an altitude of 770 m at the foot of the Central Japan Alps. The expansive 53-hectare campus is an outstanding environment for studying agriculture and conducting agricultural research.
