Admissions Policy

With consideration for core principles and educational goals of the Graduate School of Science and Technology and the Department of Agriculture, we seek out persons with the following abilities and ambitions:

1. Persons who strive to become advanced specialists capable of helping to build a sustainable society in which humans and nature can coexist
2. Persons who have a wide range of basic academic skills in the agricultural field
3. Persons who are eager to undertake research in the field of Life and Food Sciences, Food Production Systems and Mountain Forestry and Environmental Symbiosis to solve present-day problems concerning vital phenomena, food and health, food production, sustainable agriculture and forestry, environmental conservation in forests and farms, etc.
