The Electrical and Computer Engineering Division researches electromagnetism technologies and electric and electronic circuit technologies as the base of energy and electronics fields, and researches the technologies that contribute to improving the reliability and efficiency of the latest materials, and systems and communication. For this purpose, this division fosters creative human resources who have professional knowledge on both software and hardware and will be active in a broad range of fields.

  • Research and development of electromagnetic actuators, electromagnetic sensors, and wireless power transmission
  • Development of environmentally friendly, non-lead-based ferroelectric materials, and application of piezoelectric ceramics
  • Multiobjective optimization and smart grid determination based on evolutionary computation, and application of image and video processing
  • Construction of mathematical models of Information transmission system, and its performance evaluation
  • Development of invisible-future optimization algorithm, and unraveling the essence of information loss
