神経可塑性学

概要

1995年10月開設。シナプス後部のタンパク質ワールドを明らかにする。新規のシナプス後肥厚部 (PSD)タンパク質をコードする遺伝子を発見し、その解析から、未知の脳の原理の発見を目指す。PSDの分子構築、PSDを中心としたシナプス可塑性の ダイナミクスを明らかにする。

また、新規PSDタンパク質から創薬への展開、疾患との関連の解明、神経系疾患の予防と治療への展開を目指す。
