WFNS Symposia 2018 YNS 賞 他受賞 （Nagm Alhusain）

2018年8月15日～19日にマレーシア, クアラルンプールで開催された、World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies (WFNS) Symposia 2018 において、当教室留学生のNagm Alhusain （ナジム アルフサイン） 先生が、"Young Neurosurgeons(YNS)賞"、"BEST Poster Presenter"、"Oral Presentation Finalist Award"、"Finalist Award FP 01"の4つの賞を受賞しました。World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies (WFNS) Symposia は、世界中から300人以上の脳神経外科医が参加する学会です。

受賞の対象となった演題は、ポスター発表 「Watertight Robust Osteoconductive Barrier For Skull Base Reconstruction Following Expanded-Endoscopic Endonasal Approaches」と口演発表「Suturing In Endoscopic Endonasal Surgery: Pitfalls And Surgical Nuances」です。
ポスター発表演題にて、200名のYoung Neurosurgeonsの中から"YNS賞"を受賞、また、Pituitary And Skull Base のカテゴリーから、"Best Poster Presenter" に選ばれました。口演発表演題にて、Pituitary And Skull Base カテゴリーの中で、"Oral Presentation Finalist Award" に選ばれ、更に全カテゴリー50人の受賞者の中から"Finalist Award FP 01"（=Best Oral Presentation）に選ばれました。

FP 01:  Suturing In Endoscopic Endonasal Surgery: Pitfalls And Surgical　Nuances.
本発表は、近年発展が目覚ましい内視鏡下経鼻頭蓋底手術における最大の課題である頭蓋底再建法に関し、信州神経内視鏡班（SNET: Shinshu NeuroEndoscopic Team）が取り入れている高難度硬膜形成術の技術を紹介した内容です。

EP003: Watertight Robust Osteoconductive Barrier for Skull Base Reconstruction Following Expanded-Endoscopic Endonasal Approaches
本研究は、Watertight robust osteoconductive (WRO)バリヤー：広範頭蓋底腫瘍に対する経鼻内視鏡手術における新たな頭蓋底再建法。WROバリヤーは、拡大経鼻頭蓋底手術に必須な頭蓋底再建法の一つの有効なオプションに なりうると考えられます。
