ICST2025 will be held in Tochigi Prefectural Culture Center during December 1 to 3, 2025. ICST was intended to provide a common forum for researchers, scientists, engineers and practitioners throughout the world to present their latest research findings, ideas, developments and applications in the area of sensing technology. We had a presentation:

It is a corraboration results with Fuji Electric. This topics are related to the metal discrimination using magnetic-core coil, which is a very important key item in industry. In this presentation, we investigates the magnetic sensor position using a newly developed optical probe magnetic sensor (OpECS, Citizen Finedevice) with spatial resolution of 0.1 mm. It was found that the optimum detection point of 1 mm from the coil center along the radial axis, where is the edge of the inner most point of the magnetic core. As future work, we plan to measure the output obtained when miniature metal pieces are placed opposite the excitation coil using the proposed flux‑detection method (excitation coil plus magnetic sensor) and to compare the results with the impedance measurements reported in our previous study.
