Earthquake Information for International Students
- To all International Students at the Global COE program, Shinshu University -
The Tohoku region and many other areas have been devastated by
the massive earthquake and Tsunami waves that occurred on March 11, 2011.
We understand that international students studying at GCOE program,
Shinshu University may find it difficult to get the latest and accurate information.
You must be very worried about the situation.
Under these circumstances it is important to obtain the correct information about
the current situation and act calmly.
In case you have difficulty understanding relevant information in Japanese, or should
you need any assistance, please contact GCOE office and get the most update-to-date
and accurate information.
If you are considering returning to your home country temporally, please consult
with your supervisor and make the most appropriate decision for yourself in this circumstance.
If you decided to leave Japan, please report to Global COE office.
Lastly, we hope all of you will stay vigilant and take good care for your own safety.
