Open Seminar and Lectures by Prof. Koncar

We had an open seminar by Professor Vladan Koncar from ENSAIT in France on October 3rd, 2014.
The topic was "Colour changing textile structures: active and passive" and he delivered us a very interesting talk, describing a new approach to flexible textile displays. About 40 people attended the seminar and the discussion after his talk was lively, interactive, and engaging.
He also gave 5 lectures to our program students as "International Topics on Fiber Engineering I" from Oct. 3rd to 8th. His lectures were about his team's latest research results on smart textile structures applied to different sectors. He was one of the guest speakers at ICAFTM2014, he continued to travel from Tokyo to Ueda to spend more of his time with us and it was our great pleasure to have him with us.
