Current research: My first study subject is "the change of oxidation state of Fe in minerals; its effect on the crystal structure and internal textures; and process leading to precipitate formation". In particular, I am studying the oxidation state of iron and iron precipitates in olivines from basaltic lavas, mantle xenoliths, and meteorites. My second subject is 'the formation process of gabbro and diorite igneous complex'. As a third subject, I am conducting 'research on resource minerals such as REE-rich minerals in the deep-sea mud'.
