今回、East China University of Science and Technologyの　Institute for　Brain Information Processing and Cognitive Neurodynamics　Prof. Rubin Wang　所長に招待講演をお願いし、Cognitive Neurodynamicsについて、話題提供をしていただくことになりました。近年、脳神経科学は、様々な知能情報システムの基盤となる学問領域として注目を集めています。本講演では、国際ジャーナルCognitive Neurodynamicsの編集長でもあるProf. Wang所長にCognitive Neurodynamicsについて御紹介いただきます。

ドレスデン工科大学は1828年に設立されたドイツでは最も古い歴史をもつ工科大学です。理学、工学、医学、人文社会学など14学部からなる総合大学で、学生数が35,000人、正規教職員が4,200人のドイツSaxony地域では最大規模の大学です。2008年7月に本学部とITBとの間で教育・研究に関する学部間交流協定が締結されました。今後、共同研究や学生を組み入れた形での企業との共同研究システムの開発などについて、活発に交流が行われていく予定です。

Global COE "International Fiber Engineering Course" will invite Prof. Moon Suh from North Carolina State University, U.S.A. to ask him to deliver a lecture for our doctoral students.

教員及びG-COE博士課程学生　　各位
さて、来る８月６日から９日まで日韓学生JOINTシンポジウムの開催を予定しております。
この行事は去年第１回を韓国の全北大学で開き、今年２回目になります。
大学院生を中心に英語による研究発表（口頭、ポスター）会と交流を通して、未来の主人公である彼らに繊維というキーワードを中心に祭りのような時間を与えるのが主な目的です。
お忙しい中大変申し訳ございませんが大学院生の積極的な参加をお願い申し上げます。
なお、先生方も参加し、彼らに激励なお言葉をお願いしたいと思います。

参加希望者Proceedingsを作る予定ですので、７月１０日までペーパ（２から４ページ程度、規格は自由、口頭かポスターかを明記）を下記の提出先に提出くださいますようお願い申し上げます。なお口頭発表は１５分程度で本学部では７-８名を考えております。ポスターは制限が御座いません。

現在この行事のために韓国６つの大学と２つの研究所から約５０名前後の学生と教員、研究員から参加希望が来ております。

まだ、プログラムは出来ていないですがだいたいの日程としては
６日夕方　歓迎懇親会　生協
７日中　発表会　総合研究棟　７階
８日中　地域観光及びパーティ
９日　帰国　を予定しております。

本学部での参加可能な学生は６日の懇親会からの参加をお願いしたいと思います。
なお、参加費用は懇親会を含め観光パーティまですべて無料です。

詳しいことは後日掲載予定です。
