Co-developed by Professor Minoru Hashimoto of the Hashimoto/Tsukahara Laboratory along with the Faculty of Textile Science and Technology, SANYO DENKI CO., LTD., and Harmonic Drive Systems Inc., curara®, the robotic wear for assisting in activities of daily life, has been featured in the New Zealand Herald.

The article introduces the curara® robotic motion-assisting exoskeleton for stroke patients and describes the muscle activity sensors being developed by Auckland University’s Department of Exercise Sciences.
