Topics of our researches: On the basis of supramolecular chemistry, we have developed new gelators that can gel various organic fluids and aqueous solutions at relatively low concentrations (<2wt%) and investigated their molecular designs, gelation properties and gelation mechanism; particularly, our target compounds are L-amino acids because they are environmental friendly materials and not expensive.｡｡
