Summary of Activity

Our laboratory has studied Radiology including diagnostic imaging and radiation oncology in a manner of clinical investigation.

Research Projects

The purpose of studies of diagnostic imaging is to clarify the pathological condition of the common diseases using clinical imaging. To fulfill this goal, we have developed the state-of-art scanning protocols and image-viewing system. Using these, we pick out the imaging findings of the diseases and verify the clinical usefulness of the scanning protocols.
The purpose of the studies of radiation oncology is to standardize the therapeutic protocol of various kinds of malignant diseases, such as head and neck cancer, lung cancer, breast cancer et al. To achieve this aim, we apply the multi-modality approach using the method of evidence based medicine (EBM).
