Congratulations on the 15 year anniversary of the OICE!! Time is running so fast! I can’t believe the OICE is 15 years old, and I can’t believe that I have graduated from Shinshu University for 7 years now. So many memories just happened like yesterday. Still I remember the field trip to Kyoto, international pot luck parties. I miss Maki sensei’s English class, which helped me a lot with my English; especially now that I am living in USA, I have to speak English every day. That Class was also a perfect place to share our cultures and to release our stress.
I am so sorry that I am unable to come back to my second home to celebrate its birthday due to my personal reasons. I will pray in my heart for its continuing success.  As a former student, my advice to current international students is:
Enjoy every day in Japan, study hard, and play hard. Many things are once-in- life- time experience.  Learn to appreciate what you own now, don’t take things for granted! Hope you enjoy the time in Japan and have a wonderful experience in Japan and good luck on your study!!
