Study at the overseas partner universities

Course Description

Students shall participate in a three-week spring training program for English hosted by the University of Wollongong (UoW) in Australia, one of our overseas academic exchange partner universities, to improve their English language skills, communication skills, and cross-cultural understanding. Students shall experience the society, culture, and environment of Australia to gain firsthand awareness of its differences with Japan and improve their adaptability.
Before the exchange, students shall learn about Australian culture, the features of the City of Wollongong, and the campus of the University of Wollongong and present what they have learnt in English. They shall learn about Australia and develop an awareness of using English to communicate, ask questions, and make comments.
After the program, students shall review their training, creating opportunities for international exchanges with overseas partner universities and within Shinshu University, aiming to improve their English communication skills.

(4) Mid-March: Post-program Learning and Debriefing
