ESD/SDGs B【EA】

In this course, students shall learn about Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which aim to realize a sustainable society. Students shall learn about the 17 goals and 169 targets set by the SDGs and explore the role of ESD and methods of implementation. Beyond a basic overview, students shall study specific examples from Shinshu University and practical cases from businesses and practitioners. Further, through training aimed at obtaining the qualification of "Environmental Internal Auditor," students shall obtain professional knowledge and practical skills related to environmental management systems.
From the core of ESD and SDGs, students shall learn how environmental, social, and economic issues are interconnected through concrete examples. The course aims to clarify the challenges facing modern society from multiple perspectives to foster problem-solving skills and the initiative to create a sustainable future.
