Course Description
Fifteen lectures shall be conducted. Evaluation shall be based on two written examinations, conducted midterm and endterm. Lectures shall be conducted using a projector to present appropriate materials. Through the lectures, students will learn about the origin of units and their systems, the driving force of monozukuri, the history of processing technology, and the history of compatibility and standardization, with real examples. They will also learn about the engineers who contributed to the development of these technologies.
