After three years online, the English Camp has finally returned to a face-to-face format.

The theme of this year's camp was 'Travel Around the World', and one of the goals was to introduce the countries with which Shinshu University has agreements.
As this was a camp, we built real tents where students could listen to lectures and ask questions about several countries such as America, Australia, and the Netherlands.

In the so-called 'travel experience', participants visited a simulated airport check-in counter, took a flight to Los Angeles, visited the immigration office, and finally took a taxi.
As well as fun and lively games such as 'Minutes to Win It', there were sessions to correct English pronunciation and time to watch PR videos from our partner universities.

Even if only for a day, it was an opportunity to get in touch with the English language in a fun way and to get a concrete idea of what it would be like to study abroad.
