The Shinshu University Institute for Aqua Regeneration's innovative water purifying technology, Shindai Crystal®, has been selected as a featured theme in the international public relations initiative of the Cabinet Office Government Public Relations Office. A dedicated promotional video showcasing this breakthrough technology has now been produced and released worldwide.

In Tanzania, water containing high concentrations of fluoride poses a serious public health challenge, and the Tanzanian government is actively pursuing solutions. The project, led by Distinguished Professor Katsuya Teshima, Director of the Institute for Aqua Regeneration, works in close collaboration with local authorities and partner organizations to address this issue. By utilizing the high-performance adsorbent Shindai Crystal®, the team has successfully purified fluoride-contaminated water.

Looking ahead, Shinshu University's Institute for Aqua Regeneration will continue to advance research and real-world implementation centered on Shindai Crystal®, fostering partnerships with the government and local stakeholders to contribute to sustainable development and global well-being.
