Symposium on Green Hydrogen and Water Circulation Research in Southern Shinshu: Collaborating with Local Residents to Build a "Demonstration Town"

On June 1, 2024, Shinshu University held a symposium on water circulation and hydrogen-related research at S-Bird in Iida City.

The goal of this event was to inform the residents and businesses of the Southern Shinshu region about Shinshu University's initiatives, as well as to collaboratively envision the future society that could be realized through the development of a "demonstration town" for "Aqua Regeneration (ARG)"--a field encompassing various studies related to regional environmental restoration centered on water.

The symposium drew a large crowd, with 350 people attending in person and 190 participating online. The strong turnout demonstrated the high level of interest and anticipation for research in water circulation, hydrogen, and the creation of the demonstration town.
