活動報告

信州大学

信州大学理学部理学科地球学コースでは、これまでに様々な防災に対する活動をおこなってきた。本報告書では、これまでにおこなってきた活動内容をまとめ、防災に興味のない人にも防災意識を高めてもらう方法を考察する。

長野県長野高等学校

災害・防災に関する楽しいイベントを開くなど、意識しなくてもこれらの情報に触れる機会を作ることで、元々興味のなかった人も興味を持つようになると考えられる。また、子どもに興味を持ってもらうことができれば、親や友人にも災害や防災についての情報が伝わり、さらに多くの人に興味をもってもらうことができると考えられる。

松本蟻ヶ崎高等学校

松本蟻ケ崎高校自然科学部は、蟻ヶ崎高校周辺の地質調査や、理科実験を通して科学の知識を深める活動を毎日行っています。部員は19名です。自然科学部なので、部員は当然理系選択者が多いと思われがちですが、部員の半数は文系選択者です。ですので、理系選択者がもつ科学的な視点と、文系選択者がもつ文学的・歴史的・社会的な視点の両方を併せ持つのが、蟻ヶ崎高校自然科学部の特徴です。

長野県松本県ケ丘高等学校

私の行ってきた活動の目的は「松本市民が松本の自然について知り、共有し、身近な自然環境を良くする」ことです。そしてこの活動の背景には「学校での自然保護についての学びが抽象的すぎて他人事になり、松本、長野県そして日本の自然環境が改善されない」のではないか、また、「松本市には、松本市民自身が松本の自然について知らないという課題がある」のではないかと考えたという事があります。

長野県飯山高等学校（飯山市水害について）

令和元年10月12日に日本に上陸した台風19号は、関東地方や甲信地方、東北地方などで記録的な大雨となり、甚大な被害をもたらし「令和元年東日本台風」と命名された。台風の接近により、関東甲信地方などで、時間当たりの降水量が観測史上1位を更新するなど、長野県をはじめ1都12県で大雨特別警報が発表された。

高等学校などでの自然科学の学習は、日常の理科学習を乗り越え、科学や技術に対する考え方の土台形成に幅広く役立ちます。特に2015年に国連サミットで採択されたSDGsとも関連が深く、「産業と技術革新の基盤を作ろう」「つくる責任　つかう責任」に関わりがあります．ここではＩＳＳ（国際宇宙ステーション）の観測を通じて、高校で導入が可能な身近な機材でオゾン層観測を実施し、世界規模での環境問題である「オゾン層の破壊」を観測する道筋を検証しました。

長野県諏訪清陵高等学校

自然災害の 1 つとなる線状降水帯による豪雨を水蒸気から予測することで、防災に繋げたいと考えた。季節ごとに対象とする星を設定し、誰もが星の見え方から天気予測を可能にするためにスマートフォンのカメラアプリで露出時間を調節することで、星の見え方を客観的に比較した。

Shinshu University

I have done a variety of activities concerning disaster prevention at the Department of Earth Sciences, Faculty of Science, Shinshu University. In this paper, I will report the content of the activities which I have took part in, and consider how to raise the awareness of preventing disasters of those who are not interested in the topic.

Nagano Prefectural Nagano Senior High School

Those who were originally not interested in disasters and prevention may have interest in the topic by holding enjoyable events about said topic, or creating opportunities to interact with information about it without spontaneous action. Moreover, if we are able to let children have an interest in disasters and prevention, information about the topic will spread to friends and family, enabling many more people to have an interest in it.

Matsumoto Arigasaki High School

We, the Matsumoto Arigasaki High School Natural Science Club, conduct geological surveys in areas surrounding Arigasaki High School, and deepen our own knowledge about science through experiments on a daily basis. The club consists of 19 members. Although many people tend to assume us to be mostly science students, about half of us major in humanities. Therefore, we are distinctive in that we have both scientific viewpoints, and literary, historical, and/or social viewpoints.

Nagano Prefectural Matsumoto Agatagaoka Senior High School

The purpose of my activities is “for the citizens of Matsumoto city to learn about the nature of their town, share it with each other, and make the natural environment around them a better place.” I have thought that “Learning about the conservation of nature at school is too abstract for people to take it as a problem of their own, and fails to improve the natural environment of Matsumoto city, Nagano Prefecture, and Japan”, and that “Matsumoto city has the problem that its citizens do not know enough about its nature”.

Nagano Prefecture Iiyama Senior High School

Typhoon No.19 (Typhoon “Hagibis”) struck Japan on October 12th, 2019, caused record rainfall, caused a great deal of damage, and was named the “Reiwa 1 East Japan Typhoon”. The Emergency Warning of Severe Rainfall was announced in Nagano Prefecture, Tokyo, and 11 other prefectures in/around the Kanto-Koshin region, for breaking the record of precipitation amount per unit time.

Nagano Prefecture Iiyama Senior High School

Learning natural sciences in high schools is valuable not only for daily science learning, but also for improving the way of thinking about science and technology. This is closely related to "Industry, innovation and infrastructure" and "Responsible consumption and production" in the SDGs (UN 2015). Here, We carried out ozone layer observations with familiar equipment and discussed an environmental problem on a global scale.
