Ms. Minato Wins Best Paper Presentation Award

best_paper_award_Minato.JPGMs. Haruka Minato, a second-year program student, won the Best Paper Presentation Award at the Textile Summit 2016 and Postgraduate Student Conference held at the Institute of Textiles & Clothing, Hong Kong Polytechnic University on June 28-30. The Textile Summit is an extension of the previous Global Cooperation Partnership between the five universities: Faculty of Textile Science and Technology of Shinshu University; Institute of Textiles and Clothing of Hong Kong Polytechnic University (China); North Carolina State University (USA); University of Leeds (UK), and University of Manchester (UK), and the Postgraduate Student Conference was jointly held for the students from those 5 universities to share their research work.
Ms. Minato received the prize for her oral presentation titled "Preparation of Anisotropic Microgels via Hereroaggregation at the Water-Oil Interface of Emulsions." This is her first award at an international conference. Kudos to Ms. Minato!
