Presentation by the 1st Erasmus+ exchange student from Germany

TUD TUDOn March 5, 2018, the first exchange student on Erasmus+ Program from the School of Medicine, Technische Universitat Dresden (TU Dresden) in Germany gave our faculty members an excellent talk about her research and student life at the School of Medicine, Shinshu University.

Both institutions exchange 2 medical students per year based on an academic agreement and Erasmus+ Program with the European Commission funds, and Ms. Theresa Herrmann was selected to conduct research from November 2017 to March 2018 under the supervision of Associate Professor Naoki Tanaka and Prof. Toshifumi Aoyama, at the Department of Metabolic Regulations.

Her presentation led to active discussions with our professors including Dean, Prof. Eiji Tanaka, and showed that she has been having fruitful research and student life at Shinshu University. 

Ms. Miriam Eichholz, the next exchange student from TU Dresden will take over this research project, and both Ms. Herrmann and Ms. Eichholz remarked that they would like to contribute to the further development of the international partnership between TU Dresden and Shinshu.
