Data-driven AI Laboratory

 Data science has been emerging as the fourth science following experimental science, theoretical science, and computational science. Data-driven research will be fully different from the conventional research approaches, and its realization is recognized as the key to international competitiveness. We need to move toward a data-driven society from a variety of perspectives, including natural language processing, high-throughput experiments, image analysis, computational science, and information science. Our scope covers a wide range of disciplines, from basic research to social issues, including materials, processes, and systems.
We will also actively utilize cyber technologies to create new values by utilizing the expertise of Shinshu University's each campus.

Goals
Practically implement various methodologies in experimental, theoretical, and computational sciences, and realize data-driven research.
Foster an educational environment for professors, students, and company engineers to challenge data-driven society.
