Course Description

Students will participate in classes at the affiliated kindergarten, elementary school, and junior high school of the Faculty of Education, Shinshu University, and engage with the children. Rather than participating passively, you will take an active role in lessons by responding to tasks assigned by the teachers at each school. Through observing how children learn and how teachers teach, you will develop an understanding of the philosophy and structure of the Japanese school education system, its modes of operation, and the relationships between teachers and students.
