Course Description
1. Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR)
This course addresses Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) through a comparative examination of global and domestic trends. Students will consider these issues from an individual perspective and reflect on the importance of respecting others’ views without imposing their own beliefs.
2. Medical Care Related to Sexuality
Students will examine various forms of medical care related to sexuality and explore possible improvements and reforms based on their own perspectives.
This course will be conducted based on the instructor’s clinical experience as a midwife and obstetrician–gynecologist and includes discussions related to gender equality.

Fieldwork / Experiential Learning Component
Students are required to participate in the “Parenting Discussion Group” organized by Professor Haga of the Department of Health Sciences, Shinshu University School of Medicine.
This group provides support related to reproductive health for pregnant women and their partners, individuals who have given birth, children, and their families.
