Seminar on "War and Peace" from the perspective of Chinese philosophy

Course Description

We interpret words and writings left by ancient Chinese philosophers while considering and discussing issues related to "war and peace." In each class, philosophy materials (original texts and Japanese translations) shall be distributed. Accordingly, students shall work in groups and exchange opinions. Finally, students shall summarize and submit a report on their personal views on "war and peace" from the perspective of Chinese philosophy.
