Course Description
The lectures shall cover three themes - I. Overview of Mountain Farming Villages and Identifying Challenges; II. Basic Knowledge of Wildlife and Conflicts with Residents of Mountain Farming Villages; III. An Environment that Connects Agriculture and Forestry to Mountaneous rural areas. Section I provides a general overview of mountain farming villages and the current state of the environment. Section II covers the current status and ecology of wildlife, the damage they cause, the preventive measures for it, and the challenges in capturing. Section III explains the differences between rural and urban environments, the functions and ecosystem services provided by farmland and mountain farming villages, and the restoration techniques employed therein. Lectures shall be given by three lecturers, all of whom will provide clear explanations in an easy-to-understand manner, using specific examples from their specialized perspectives and research fields.

8. Challenges of Trapping - One Such Countermeasure
9. Current State of Wildlife Challenges in Shinshu
III. An Environment that Connects Agriculture and Forestry to Mountaneous Rural areas.

11. Environmental Conservation Functions of Farmland and Mountain Farming Villages

15. Summary
Each instructor shall conduct quizzes during their assigned lessons to periodically assess the students' understanding of the topics outlined in the course overview.
