Course Description
Students will learn the basic language, methods, and concepts required for web development, such as HTML and CSS, based on recommendations from the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). Students will gain an understanding of the concept of accessibility and aim to create websites that are easy to use for as many people as possible. In addition, we will consider various copyright issues through the practice of website development. Students will discuss these points in groups at each stage of development, starting from site planning. Depending on students’ progress, they may also learn the basics of the scripting languages that are commonly used to create dynamic websites, leading to more advanced development. However, we intend to select the course content flexibly according to students’ level of understanding and learning progress.
