Seminar for biodiversity conservation

Course Description

In this seminar's lectures, students will learn what biodiversity is and why it is important. Subsequently, they will deepen their understanding of biodiversity-related issues in Japan and other countries through discussions and group work.

In the second half of the seminar course, students will select a topic of interest and use books, newspapers, academic papers, and other sources to research and present the types of risks the target species is currently facing and the conservation measures being taken.
