Numbers and Shapes

Code:G2B50102 / Instructor:TAKANO Kazuhiko

Course Description

Students review the properties of the integers and figures from Mathematics A, which they studied in senior high school, expanding upon them and looking at how they apply to everyday life. We explore the properties of integers and discuss RSA encryption, an encryption method that supports society. Examining the properties of figures, we discuss the traveling salesman problem, the sphere-of-influence problem, and other topics, and students engage in group work (GW) in small groups to consider the properties and applications of numbers and shapes.
