Institute for Aqua Regeneration (ARG) at Shinshu University and Vidyasirimedhi Institute of Science and Technology (VISTEC) in Thailand entered into a Memorandum of Understanding.

ARG Director Professor Teshima and researchers attended the signing ceremony on October 9th, 2025 at VISTEC campus at Rayong, Thailand.

VISTEC is a private research institute with Master's and Ph.D degree programmes,founded by PPT Group (the largest oil company in Thailand) . The campus is located in Wangchan Valley EECi, Smart Natural Innovation Platform, alongside many public and industry research facilities.

Following the signing ceremony, Dr. Pewnim of VISTEC led Shinshu group on a campus tour to show modern research facilities located within the Wangchan Valley.

This partnership is expected to facilitate academic mobility between the two institutions for mutual benefit.
