Institute for Aqua Regeneration(ARG) at Shinshu University and the Faculty of Engineering at King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi(KMUTT), Thailand have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding.

The signing ceremony took place on October 8th,2025 at KMUTT campus at Bangkok, where ARG Director Professor Teshima and researchers were warmly hosted by Associate Dean for International Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Asawin Meechai and members of the Faculty of Engineering.

Following the MoU signing, a meeting was held which included discussions on future collaborations and researchers and student exchange.

KMUTT has earned strong research quality and ranked 3rd in the Engineering field in Thailand in the 2025 Times Higher Education Rankings. With this MoU, it is expected to accelerate joint research efforts in nanomaterials, biomaterials for the energy and environmental fields and foster active interactions between researchers at both institutions.
