The 10th Shinshu University Exhibition was held at Alpico Plaza on Friday, September 13, 2024.
This milestone 10th event, with the subtitle "~Challenging the Pinnacle of Knowledge~," was the first in-person exhibition in five years. We showcased our university's research, educational initiatives, and regional collaborations through 110 different booths.
At the opening ceremony, President Soichiro Nakamura expressed his hopes for the event, saying, "I want more people to know about the cutting-edge research being conducted at Shinshu University." He highlighted the exhibition as an opportunity for the community to learn about the research of a university so closely connected to the region.
This year, a special exhibition featured booths from the ARG and the Green Society Co-Creation Organization. At their booths, events were also held. At the Aqua-Regeneration booth, three researchers gave presentations on the university's initiatives and research in the ARG field. Meanwhile, the Green Society Co-Creation Organization hosted a mini-event by the Center for Regional Disaster Prevention and Mitigation titled, "Let's Make a Bed out of Cardboard!"
Both events drew large crowds, showing the high level of interest in the ARG field as well as in environmental and disaster prevention topics.
Despite the short five-and-a-half-hour duration, the exhibition was a great success, with 370 people in attendance. We extend our sincere gratitude to all visitors and exhibitors.
