On April 15, 2025, a ceremony was held at Nagoya University for the opening of the "Shinshu University/Nagoya University Liaison Office," attended by members of the Shinshu University Institute for Aqua Regeneration and Nagoya University's Institute for Advanced Research.

The liaison office was established within the Nagoya University Green Vehicle Materials Research Facility, based on an agreement to promote collaboration between the Shinshu University Institute for Aqua Regeneration and Nagoya University's Institute for Advanced Research, which was signed on April 1, 2025.

The establishment of this office is intended to deepen collaboration in personnel exchange and academic research, including the advanced integration of a wide range of cutting-edge research in the water field at both universities, with the aim of contributing to the development of water-related research in Japan.
