Professor Rodolfo Cruz Silva posted a Perspective on Science Magazine

2021.05.10

Professor Rodolfo Cruz Silva (RISM) and Professor Ana Laura Elias (Binghamton University), posted a Perspectives on Graphene Oxide (GO) fibers on Science magazine.

In this opinion piece, they give a perspective on GO fiber assembly methods and their potential applications and outline current challenges.
GO is a material of high interest for several researchers at RISM and Shinshu University, where they have been working on applications in membranes, catalyst, and batteries. Shinshu also has a patented graphene oxide application for high performance electrically conducting fibers.

Rodolfo Cruz Silva is RISM Specially Appointed Professor and came to Shinshu University in 2010 to join the Exotic Nanocarbon Project. Prof. Ana Laura Elias started her scientific career as postdoctoral researcher in the Institute of Carbon Science and Technology of Shinshu University and now is Professor at the University of Binghamton, USA
