In this study, the impression of football uniform colour was discussed from the viewpoint of game watchers.
　In order to investigate whether game watchers pay attention to the football uniform and how much impressions they are given, the questionnaire and some visual evaluation experiments using real images of football games were carried out.
　From the results of questionnaire and visual evaluation experiments, we found that game watchers pay attention to the football uniform. Through factor analysis of visual impression evaluation results, we also found that the impressions of watchers have three factors of "fresh", "distinguishable" and "smart." Furthermore, we found that the impression of "distinguishable" is also related to luminance difference and colour differences. In addition, as an application of this study, we developed a computer system for evaluating watcher's impression.
