Actuation of Poly(vinyl alcohol) Microfiber by an Appling DC Electric Field

In this study, Poly(vinyl alcohol)(PVA)fibers were used and their electrical actuation behaviors were investigated by application of an electric field. Our aim was to clarify the actuation mechanisms of PVA fiber and find the optimal conditions for PVA fiber actuation.
