Microdomain Structures in PS-b-PMMA Diblock Copolymer / homopolystyrene Blends

Block copolymers are composed of two or more kinds of chemically different polymers connected by a covalent bond. Their morphologies can be controlled by varying their compositions, architectures or number of different blocks as well as temperature. The morphology of block copolymer is useful for nanotechnology. Since PMMA can be selectively removed easily by UV exposure, the remaining part can be used as templates for nanoscale pattering or served as nanoporous membrane.
