Friction Properties of Non Friction Fabrics Using Whisker Type Tactile Sensor

In this study, a simple whisker type tactile sensor has been used to measure the friction properties of nonwoven fabrics surfaces from which their surface characteristics can be calculated. The friction properties of ester, nylon and polypropylene spun-bond nonwoven fabrics which differ in thickness, weight and embossed pattern were investigated.
