Memorandum of Understanding with Nicolae Testemitanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy of the Republic of Moldova (USMF)

On March 31, 2021, Shinshu University established a new international partnership agreement with USMF, the only higher education institution in the Republic of Moldova that trains doctors and pharmacists. Since its establishment in 1945, USMF has grown significantly to become one of the most prestigious universities in the country, contributing to the improvement of national medical standards.

The origins of the partnership lie in an interaction between the neurosurgical departments of both universities, led by Shinshu University's former professors KOBAYASHI Shigeaki and HONGO Kazuhiro, and professor Grigore Zapuhlih at USMF.

Both universities look forward to future collaboration and student mobility based on this Memorandum.
