Biochemical Approach about How Long the Effect of Exercise Remains

Changes in serum creatine kinase activity (CK), lactate dehydrogenase activity (LDH), α-hydroxybutyrate dehydrogenase activity (α-HBDH) and isoenzyme of CK activity (CK-MB) are measured before and after following exercise.
1) 5 km running continued 7 days.
2) 1000m swimming. (3 times.)
No changes in LDH, α-HBDH and CK-MB were found in these exercise so markedly. But CK rose remarkably when one hadn't experienced or hadn't done the exercise for a long time. And evaluation of CK was prevented by before exercise. Increase of CK was related to the delayed muscular soreness.
It might be possible that we could know the remained influence of exercise from CK activity after exercise. According to this result, the influence remains more than one week or one year.
We must study this point more minutely.
